1. About VJStream

VJStream is a digital entertainment platform that provides access to movies, series, VJ-commentated content, and related entertainment services.

References in these Terms to VJStream, we, us, or our refer to the operator of the VJStream service.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into an agreement under the laws applicable to you in order to use VJStream.

If you are under the age required to enter into a legally binding agreement, you may only use VJStream with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By using the Service, you confirm that the information you provide to VJStream is accurate and that you are permitted to use the payment method associated with your account.

3. User Accounts

Some VJStream features require an account.

You are responsible for:

• providing accurate account information;
• keeping your login credentials secure;
• preventing unauthorized access to your account; and
• activity carried out through your account unless the activity resulted from a security failure caused by VJStream.

You should notify VJStream Support as soon as possible if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

You may not sell, transfer, rent, or commercially share your VJStream account.

4. Subscriptions

VJStream may offer different subscription plans, including daily, weekly, monthly, or other subscription periods.

The available plans, prices, features, download allowances, and subscription duration will be displayed before payment.

Your subscription begins once payment has been successfully confirmed and the subscription has been activated.

Unless clearly stated otherwise before purchase, a subscription gives you a limited right to access the Service for the applicable subscription period. It does not transfer ownership of any movie, series, video, audio, or other content to you.

Subscription prices and available plans may change from time to time. Changes will not retroactively alter a subscription that has already been paid for and activated.

5. Automatic Renewals

Where VJStream offers an automatically renewing subscription, the renewal conditions and recurring payment information will be disclosed before you subscribe.

Subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another third-party platform may also be governed by that platform's subscription and cancellation rules.

Where a subscription does not automatically renew, access will expire at the end of the purchased period unless you purchase another subscription.

6. Payments

VJStream may accept payments through Mobile Money, card payments, app stores, payment processors, or other supported payment methods.

By making a payment, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the transaction.

VJStream is not responsible for delays or failures caused solely by banks, mobile network operators, app stores, card networks, or external payment providers.

However, where your payment is successfully deducted but your subscription is not activated, you should contact VJStream Support so that the transaction can be investigated.

⚠️ You should never provide your Mobile Money PIN, card PIN, password, OTP, or other authentication credentials to VJStream Support.

7. Refunds and Payment Disputes

Payments for VJStream subscriptions are generally non-refundable once the subscription has been successfully activated and access to the Service has been provided.

However, VJStream may provide a refund, subscription extension, account credit, or another appropriate remedy where:

• you are charged more than once for the same subscription;
• payment is successfully deducted but your subscription is not activated;
• you are charged an incorrect amount;
• a significant technical problem caused by VJStream prevents you from accessing the paid Service for a substantial part of your subscription period; or
• other exceptional circumstances reasonably justify a refund.

Refund requests should be submitted as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours of the affected transaction.

Refunds will generally not be issued where:

• you change your mind after purchasing a subscription;
• you purchase a subscription but do not use it;
• you forget to use the subscription before it expires;
• your internet connection, device, storage, mobile network, or another issue outside VJStream prevents you from using the Service;
• you have already substantially used the subscription by streaming or downloading content; or
• your account or access has been restricted because of a serious violation of these Terms.

For short-duration subscriptions, including daily subscriptions, a refund may not be available once the subscription has been activated and meaningfully used.

Where appropriate, VJStream may correct the problem, restore access, or extend the subscription instead of issuing a monetary refund.

Purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play may be subject to Apple's or Google's refund procedures. Where VJStream does not directly control the transaction, you may be required to request the refund through the relevant platform.

VJStream may reject refund requests that reasonably appear fraudulent, abusive, repetitive, or intended to obtain substantial use of the Service without payment.

Nothing in this section limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Streaming Content

VJStream grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-commercial right to stream available content during the period in which you are authorized to access the Service.

Content availability may vary over time.

Certain movies, series, episodes, VJ versions, languages, video qualities, or other content may be added, changed, or removed without prior notice.

Purchasing a subscription does not guarantee that a specific title will remain available throughout your subscription period.

9. Downloads and Offline Viewing

VJStream may allow eligible users to download certain content for offline viewing.

Downloads are provided solely for personal viewing through supported VJStream applications or systems.

Downloading content does not give you ownership of the downloaded material.

You may not:

• redistribute downloaded content;
• upload it to another website, application, server, or file-sharing platform;
• sell or rent downloaded content;
• bypass technical restrictions placed on downloads;
• extract protected content from the VJStream application for unauthorized use; or
• use downloaded content for commercial purposes.

Download limits, available video qualities, storage requirements, expiration rules, and other restrictions may vary depending on the subscription plan or content.

A download allowance or quota may only be considered used once a download is successfully completed where VJStream's system is designed to apply completion-based download limits.

10. Personal and Non-Commercial Use

VJStream is intended for personal entertainment use unless we explicitly provide written permission for another use.

You may not use VJStream to:

• publicly screen content for commercial purposes;
• charge other people to access your account;
• operate an unauthorized cinema, television service, streaming service, or redistribution service;
• rebroadcast VJStream content;
• copy or redistribute content outside functionality expressly provided by VJStream; or
• commercially exploit any part of the Service.

11. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

• attempt to hack, damage, disrupt, overload, or interfere with VJStream;
• reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from VJStream except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• bypass subscription, authentication, advertising, download, geographic, security, or access restrictions;
• use automated tools to scrape or systematically copy the Service;
• attempt to access another user's account without authorization;
• use stolen or unauthorized payment methods;
• intentionally exploit bugs or vulnerabilities;
• distribute malware through the Service;
• impersonate another person;
• use VJStream for unlawful activity; or
• help another person engage in prohibited activity.

We may investigate suspected misuse and take reasonable steps to protect the Service and our users.

12. Intellectual Property

The VJStream name, branding, software, interface, platform design, logos, original materials, and other intellectual property belonging to VJStream are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Movies, series, artwork, audio, VJ commentary, and other materials available through the Service may belong to VJStream, content creators, licensors, distributors, or other rights holders.

Your subscription provides access to content but does not transfer intellectual property ownership to you.

You may not use VJStream trademarks, branding, copyrighted material, or other protected materials except as permitted by these Terms or with appropriate authorization.

13. Content Availability

Our content catalogue may change regularly.

We may add, update, replace, restrict, or remove content for reasons including:

• licensing or distribution arrangements;
• technical issues;
• legal requirements;
• rights-holder requests;
• content updates; or
• business decisions.

The removal of a particular title does not normally entitle a subscriber to a refund where the broader VJStream Service remains available.

14. Video Quality and Internet Usage

Streaming and downloading video may consume significant mobile data.

Different video qualities may use different amounts of data and storage.

You are responsible for any internet, data, telecommunications, or other charges imposed by your network provider when using VJStream.

Actual video quality may depend on factors including:

• your selected quality;
• internet speed;
• device capabilities;
• content availability; and
• network conditions.

15. Service Availability

We aim to keep VJStream available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation at all times.

The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of:

• maintenance;
• software updates;
• server problems;
• internet outages;
• payment-provider failures;
• third-party infrastructure failures;
• security incidents; or
• circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Short interruptions or scheduled maintenance do not automatically qualify for a refund.

Where a significant VJStream-controlled outage substantially affects a paid subscription, we may provide an extension, credit, partial refund, full refund, or another reasonable remedy depending on the circumstances.

16. Updates to the Applications

We may release updates to VJStream applications to improve functionality, security, compatibility, performance, or features.

Certain features may stop working correctly if you continue using an outdated version of the application.

Where reasonably necessary for security or compatibility, we may require you to install a newer version before continuing to use the Service.

17. Third-Party Services

VJStream may depend on or interact with third-party services including:

• payment processors;
• mobile network operators;
• cloud infrastructure;
• analytics providers;
• advertising providers;
• Apple App Store;
• Google Play; and
• authentication or communication services.

Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies.

VJStream is not responsible for independent services operated by third parties, although we remain responsible for obligations that applicable law places directly on VJStream.

18. Advertising

Some parts of VJStream may contain advertisements.

Advertisements may be provided by third-party advertising networks or partners.

The presence of an advertisement does not necessarily mean that VJStream endorses the advertised product or service.

Different subscription plans or versions of VJStream may contain different advertising experiences.

19. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to VJStream where reasonably necessary, including where:

• you seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms;
• fraudulent payment activity is detected;
• you attempt to compromise the security of the Service;
• your account is being used for unauthorized redistribution;
• we are required to do so by law or a competent authority; or
• continuing to provide the account would create a substantial security or legal risk.

Where reasonable, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue before permanent termination.

Serious fraud, security abuse, piracy, or unlawful activity may result in immediate suspension.

20. Closing Your Account

You may stop using VJStream at any time.

Where account deletion functionality is provided, you may request deletion through the application or visit our Account Deletion page.

Deleting your account does not automatically create a right to a refund for an already purchased subscription.

Certain transaction or account records may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, security, or regulatory purposes.

21. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is governed by the VJStream Privacy Policy.

By using VJStream, you acknowledge that certain personal information may need to be processed in order to provide features such as accounts, payments, subscriptions, customer support, downloads, security, and service improvements.

Where required, VJStream will request appropriate consent for processing activities that require consent.

22. Security

We use reasonable measures intended to protect VJStream and user accounts.

However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and should not share passwords, OTPs, payment PINs, or similar security information with anyone claiming to be VJStream Support.

23. Disclaimers

VJStream is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that:

• every title will always be available;
• the Service will operate without interruption;
• every device will support every feature;
• every video will be available in every quality;
• downloads will work on unsupported devices; or
• third-party networks and payment systems will always operate without interruption.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VJStream will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

This may include losses resulting from:

• internet or mobile network failures;
• unsupported devices;
• third-party payment-provider outages;
• loss of locally stored downloads;
• third-party services; or
• unauthorized access resulting from a user's failure to secure their credentials.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

25. Changes to VJStream

We may modify, improve, replace, or discontinue features of the Service from time to time.

This may include changes to:

• the user interface;
• video player;
• download functionality;
• subscription plans;
• payment methods;
• supported devices;
• advertisements; or
• content catalogue.

Where a change materially affects an active paid subscription, we will take reasonable steps to avoid unfairly depriving customers of what they have already purchased.

26. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make material changes, we may notify users through the application, website, email, or another reasonable method.

The updated Terms will state their effective date.

Your continued use of VJStream after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.

Changes to these Terms will not remove rights that already apply to completed transactions where doing so would be unlawful or unfair.

27. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, subject to any mandatory consumer protections or other rights that apply under applicable law.

Where a dispute arises, both you and VJStream should first attempt to resolve the matter reasonably through VJStream Support.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may pursue remedies available under applicable law.

28. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

29. No Waiver

If VJStream does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean we have permanently waived the right to enforce it later.

30. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the VJStream Privacy Policy and any additional terms clearly presented when purchasing a particular product or service, form the agreement between you and VJStream regarding use of the Service.
