About VJStream
Bringing world-class cinema and serialized drama into the hearts of Ugandan homes through the authentic, energetic art of Luganda video jockey translation.
Our Story & Purpose
In Uganda, movies have always been more than passive entertainment—they are a community cultural experience. Video Jockeys (VJs) do not merely translate dialogue; they bring stories alive with cultural context, wit, and electrifying voice commentary.
VJStream was founded to preserve and modernize this rich storytelling tradition. By combining high-speed streaming infrastructure, responsive modern web design, and mobile apps, VJStream gives millions of Luganda speakers instant access to their favourite translated blockbusters on their phones, laptops, and smart TVs.
